The propagation of dumbness

When we develop a new application, when we post content on the Internet, whatever we do that people will have access to, we should consider just for a minute if our contribution will add up to the level of dumbness people are exposed to. If it does, we should refrain from going live. If our app is live and awesome, we should monitor how it could potentially be used to add up to the level of dumbness people are exposed to. And if it does, we should take action immediately. Closing a website is a lot less problematic than the propagation of dumbness.

Whatever we put on the web will consume people’s time and impact how their brain develops itself. How they see the world. Their level of happiness/depression.

And I’m fairly certain we all know what’s fun (and smart) and what’s dumb. This distinction is not a matter of endless debate.
